Sylhet Women’s Medical College and Hospital is a state of the art teaching and medical facility with a unique architectural design throughout its 3 high-rise buildings built on 130,000 square feet of land: one high-rise containing the college and another containing the associated 625-bed teaching hospital in the heart of Sylhet, Bangladesh.
Holy Sylhet Holding Limited (HSHL) established the Sylhet Women’s Medical College in 2005 and established Sylhet Women’s Medical College Hospital the following year.
Sylhet Women’s Medical College & Hospital regularly ranks among the 5 best private teaching hospitals in Bangladesh and is accredited by the Ministry of Health as well as Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).

Sylhet Women’s Medical College admits only female students. The course duration for MBBS in Bangladesh is 5 Years with a compulsory 1 Year Internship after graduation.
The degree awarded is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council as well as leading councils of many leading countries. Sylhet Women’s Medical College is affiliated with Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) under the school of Medical Sciences which is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
